Protestant Assisted Living in San Antonio

People of all ages have been known to rely on their faith to help them cope with chronic disabilities, such as traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, and arthritis. Studies have proven that people who live with chronic pain or disabilities find some relief when they participate in religious practices such as prayer and worship. Many senior communities acknowledge that there is an important connection between faith and healing among the residents that they serve.

Shavano Park

An assisted living facility called Shavano Park lies on the northwestern area of San Antonio. Shavano Park offers boutique-style assisted living that offers a range of assisted living personal care services. Apartments are ADA compliant.

Morningside Ministries

San Antonio seniors have access to three different assisted living communities in the San Antonio area, as provided by Morningside Ministries. They are The Meadows, The Manor, and Chandler Estate. Morningside Ministries was founded in 1961 by the Southwest Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. The First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio and the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas joined them five years later. Morningside Ministries continues to be a faith-based program that does not discriminate based upon race, religious preferences or ethnicities.

Christian Hope Personal Care

The facility is located close to stores, schools, and public transportation. The home-like atmosphere offers the best in 24-hour assisted living care. The program offers medication management, medical monitoring, personal care and transportation. Residents have the opportunity to attend spiritual services.
