Choosing an assisted living community or Alzheimer’s care center is one of the most important decisions you will make. There are several things you want from a retirement home, including comfort, quality care, security, and a relaxing atmosphere. Senior Advisor recognizes outstanding senior living providers and awards those with high ratings the Best of Senior Living award. The following is a small list of the 2016 winners.
Assisted living facilities provide you with community living and help when you need it. The staff can assist you with activities for daily living (ADLs), such as discreet personal care.

One reviewer wrote, “My parents are in the memory care unit, which provides a safe and secure environment for people with advanced dementia. There is a lot of one-on-one care for them. The staff is so amazing. They seem to truly enjoy their jobs, and are so good with all of the residents. My dad is totally disabled, and they keep him clean, well dressed, and comfortable at all times. I've never had a complaint about his cleanliness in the 4 months he's been there.”
