Reviewers on the site praised the facilities’ clean and relaxing atmosphere. One reviewer commented on the on-site manager's presence, “So far we have been pleased. We haven't had any issues at all. The maintenance and service of the facility itself are wonderful. The people are exceptionally friendly, and helpful. The cleanliness is right at the top they go out of their way to maintain that place. The managers live there on site so they are always there. The food is excellent, better than we ever could have expected. They were hands down the best place we saw there was no two ways about it. I would give them a five plus!”
Another reviewer was happy that her mother-in-law found the perfect place to call home, “We had a very small window of time to find a place for my mother-in-law. We visited several local properties. While each had its own unique feel and personality, Whispering Pines was chosen for my mother-in-law. There were a number of reasons for our decision. One was that after seeing and talking to some of the residents we felt she would fit in at Whispering Pines. We had lunch there the day of our tour and the food was not only outstanding but we were very impressed that managers participated in the serving of the food. Steve and Roxanne knew each resident by name and interacted in a very friendly, caring and understanding manner. This put our minds at ease knowing our loved one would have some one-on-one interaction without feeling like she had a "baby sitter." The other deciding factor was the price. For the amenities included we didn't find a better deal. Being a newer facility and having such great staff we feel Whispering Pines is the perfect place for her.”
A family member of a resident commented on the decorative touches throughout Whispering Pines, “It was a brand new place, with nice art, and flowers, and china everywhere. It's pretty big, and they have onsite dining and an activities coordinator.” You can find past winners of the Best of Senior Living award on the site for years 2013-2014 and 2015.
