The park spreads out over five city blocks, but the installations are not adjacent. The series depicts a wagon train with pioneers traveling through hilly and muddy terrain. The 100-acre gardens are situated in the riverfront hills area of Omaha. The gardens are a relaxing place to observe the beauty of nature. The Gardens were founded in 1995 and visitors will find gardens focused on various themes includes English, Victorian, and Nebraskan prairies among others. The gardens also display a model railroad and a bird sanctuary.

4. Saint Cecilia Cathedral

The Cathedral is an Omaha landmark with rare 500-year-old stained glass windows. Visit to see the gorgeous architectural details of this enormous religious structure.

5. The Durham Museum

Located in a delightful Art Deco building, the Durham Museum occupies the space of what was once among the country’s busiest train stations. The 1931 building was restored in 1995 after a comprehensive renovation. The museum is a showcase of Omaha history.

6. Joslyn Art Museum

The Joslyn Art Museum is Nebraska's biggest art museum and contains a notable collection of Baroque art and ancient Greek pottery. The museum also displays a collection of works by Charles Bird King, Alfred Jacob Miller, Karl Bodmer, and Henry Inman.

7. Performing Arts Center

The Center is a landmark Omaha venue for the performing arts consisting of two venues: the Orpheum Theater and the Holland Center for the Performing Arts. The Center hosts some of the world's best musicians and is also the home of the Omaha Symphony.
