The name was changed again to Catholic Health Services of the Archdiocese of Miami to reflect their growing array of services. Pastoral and spiritual care is an important part of Catholic Health Services. Spiritual leaders offer healing, sustaining, guiding, reconciling, and counseling. Pastoral care is available for patients, their families, and staff. The program is Catholic-based, but they support and respect each person’s faith, tradition, and spiritual perspective.

Catholic Hospice provides palliative and hospice care for patients with terminal illnesses. Catholic Hospice provides care for patients of all ages and faiths. St. William Catholic Church offers respite services for senior caregivers. The Respite Program serves individuals that are constant caregivers for someone living in a home, by sending in a temporary replacement caregiver to give them a break. The service is available for all caregivers that live within the parish boundaries, regardless of their religious affiliation. There is no cost for this services.
