Live Like a Local in Miami

The city of Miami boasts an abundance of favored attractions. Locals enjoy some of the same spots on a regular basis, which fill this list. Anyone new to the area can take a look around to see if any of these spots pique their interests. The newbies become part of the group of locals in no time when making regular visits to these locations.

Meals for Miamians

Family-owned favorite, Fratelli Milano, is a comfortable, yet stylish eatery with classic dishes. Online orders are now accepted at the location, allowing people to place orders faster. Delivery is also an option. Lunch is served until 5 p.m., when dinner begins. Valet parking is available.

Casa Juancho serves one of the rarest collections of wine in the U.S., with most of it coming from Spain. Spanish and South Florida foods collide at this restaurant, offering a unique tasting experience. Live music is often played at Casa Juancho in the evenings.

Pizza, wraps, subs, and more are served at Berries in the Grove, a cozy cafe with a lot to offer. A dessert and coffee menu is a popular list to look at, with apple pizza, key lime pie, Irish coffee, and Jamaican coffee topping the list.

Shop Like a Miamian

The Shops at Mary Brickell Village are greatly varied, with options like LA Sweets, Essence Shoes, Atik Shop, and Studio LX among them. The shops are open every day, with a few shorter hours on Sunday. There is a fee for using the parking garage, which rises the longer the space is used.

Speciality stores and boutiques are available at the Miracle Mile and Downtown Coral Gables. Alessa’s Bridal, Yo-Yo Children’s Boutique, Curves N’ Waves, and Silver Dragon are just a few of the locations present. Beauty services, alterations, jewelers, and more are also located in the area.

Get Miamian Hair

The 231 Salon is located within downtown Coral Gables. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The salon’s owner was born in Barcelona, but offers European style to his clients.

Men and women looking for incredible transformations can head to Hair Healers Beauty Salon. The team of stylists work to treat and correct hair in a safe way. There are non-chemical solutions offered, but also chemical options for those that want something stronger and long-lasting. The stylists look at face shape and hair texture to determine the best possible style for each person.

Junior & Hatter is a unique beauty salon that offers extensive services. A neck and shoulder massage, sea spa body scrub, brow and lash tint, wax service, and facial are all offered in the spa section of the salon. There are also skin treatments available, including chemical peels, an oatmeal mask, and collagen induction therapy. Customers can also get their hair cut and styled at Junior & Hatter, with separate women’s and men’s departments. Keratin treatments and color corrections are both possibilities. This list is only the beginning when it comes to finding local favorites around the city of Miami. A number of favored places can be found if one if looking hard enough.
