The Delta Fair & Music Festival has been a Memphis staple for the past 10 years. The event runs annually for a week in early September and brings some of the best entertainment available to the area. There are always a wide variety of musical acts daily, as well as scheduled attractions like a children’s parade, tiger and elephant show, helicopter rides, and a petting zoo. A 5k and 10k run are also part of the festivities, as are entertaining events like a demolition derby and redneck yacht races.
