Baptist Memorial Hospital received high regional rankings from U.S. News & World Report, recognized for its excellent medical care within Memphis and overall statewide within Tennessee. Baptist Memorial’s geriatric scorecard got good marks for patient service programs.
Saint Francis Hospital also earned a spot on the U.S. News & World Report listings. The hospital’s scorecard for geriatric services posted top scores for patient services including “arthritis center and wound-management programs.” Saint Francis ranked as “high performing” for the adult procedure of heart failure treatment.
Saint Francis Hospital offers specialized services for seniors that include individual patient assessment and advanced health care with their Elder Care & Senior Center and the Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) program. Total patient wellness is the focus of these services for those 65 and older that involves comprehensive care toward the goal of enhancing the health of the patient.
