San Marco is considered the main neighborhood for the LGBT community. It is known for its old plantation homes and architecture and sits on the St. Johns River. LGBT Events and Activities in Jacksonville

River City Pride is a festival and parade celebrating the LGBT community in Jacksonville. You can watch the floats from the sidelines and meet new friends at the block party. There is plenty of entertainment during the event including musical performances and vendors.

The University of North Florida’s (UNF) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Resource Center list upcoming events and activities in Jacksonville. These activities include weekly meetings, like Love Without Limits and Trans Talks, as well as monthly activities such as Family Hangouts. The events are open to everyone. If you need accommodations due to a disability, UNF requests that you call five days before the scheduled event.

MyGayJacksonville.com hosts an annual LGBT Wedding Expo for couples. Seniors considering marriage or remarriage can attend and sample products and look at the newest trends in weddings and jewelry.
