Indianapolis Zoo

Walk along the designated paths to experience a number of unique exhibits and animals from all over the world. The Indianapolis Zoo is not only a zoo but also a botanical garden and aquarium. Seniors age 62 and older receive a discounted admission on both the standard package and the total package that allows for access to all areas. There is also a special deal for grandparents who want to take their grandchildren along for the adventure. You can sign up to be a member and receive a discounted grandparent’s package that allows two adults and all their grandkids to attend.

AMC Indianapolis 17 with IMAX

AMC theaters across the U.S. provide discounts to seniors, and AMC Indianapolis 17 is no exception. Once you make it to 60, you can see any movie on the list for cheaper than before. Ticket prices are $1.50 less for senior admission. The pricing is good any day of the week.

Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians & Western Art

Study the various collections and exhibits presented at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians & Western Art. The collections include Native American, Western, and Contemporary artifacts and art pieces. Seniors receive $2 off their admission price. The museum and the cafe are open seven days a week.

Indiana Historical Society

View Indiana history at its finest through the Indiana Historical Society. A memorial library, history lab, porter room, and additional features are all included. After the age of 60, you are eligible for a discounted admission price into the history museum.

Indy Fun Trolley Tours

Take a tour through the city and explore all it has to offer. Indy Fun Trolley Tours allow visitors and residents alike to take a ride through Indianapolis on a trolley. It provides a unique experience. Once you reach the age of 60, you receive a special ticket price to make the ride more affordable.

NCAA Hall of Champions

Sports history from throughout the U.S. can be explored at the NCAA Hall of Champions. For just $3, you can take a tour through the halls filled with memorabilia and photographs. The second level allows for play and interaction with simulated games and hands-on entertainment.

Rhythm! Discovery Center

The Rhythm! Discovery Center is an interactive museum filled with percussions and drums. Historical music artifacts are set up in the exhibits for you to look through. The Time Tunnel takes you through the centuries as you explore the instruments various cultures used to get their fill of music. There are also many instruments available to try out. The center is open every day, except for major holidays. A $4 discount is given to seniors who have a valid ID.
