Customer Reviews

Good place, good people. A few concerns

For the most part, we are quite pleased with the Cohen Home. There are a couple of things that have bothered/concerned us, however.

1. For the price, I would have thought that the folks working there would have been a bit more responsive to our questions and/or concerns, particularly with the environment in my parents apartment. It s almost always hot, at times unbearably hot, in there, for starters. There were issues with cleaning/refreshing the apartment (carpets, counters, dusting, vacuuming, etc., to name a few).

2. The only other concerns we have had relate to communications by them and with us. Those early issues have been dealt with.

Nice place. Responsive staff

Care for mom

The community is outstanding. The staff is very nice and caring. I wish they had more communication The menu is wonderful and a nice. I like knowing that she is doing activities with the residents. We would recommend the care of this community to other families.

Assisted Living That Feels Like Home

The Cohen Home is an assisted living facility with a long history of serving Atlanta. Started in 1979 by the National Council of Jewish Women, The Cohen Home (formerly The Louis Kahn Group Home in the Emory area) has been home for dozens of residents desiring assisted living with heart. Today, over 20 years later, we maintain our original commitment to providing an affordable, nurturing, home-like environment that promotes family, community, and Jewish values.

When you step through the doors of The Cohen Home, you'll know you're home. Located in a wooded residential neighborhorhood just minutes from Northpoint Mall, Northside Hospital Annex, Emory Johns Creek Hospital, and North Fulton Medical Center, we provide seniors with a nurturing and supportive Jewish environment.
