The company, founded in 1985, has its headquarters in South Daytona, Florida, and has its factory in Lexington, North Carolina. Premier Care showrooms are located in South Daytona, San Diego, and Indianapolis in the US. Canadian showrooms are located in Surrey, British Columbia, and Mississauga, Ontario.<\/p>\n

Premier Care offers 5 types of walk-in tubs, 3 styles of easy-access showers, and an array of accessible bathroom sinks, wall-mounted support rails and grab bars, and easy to clean composite bead board for bathroom walls. Among the tub options are:<\/p>\n

          The Better Business Bureau, which gives the company an overall rating of B+<\/strong> as of July 2015, reports that the company and the state of Minnesota entered a Consent Cease and Desist Order in 2013 to settle allegations of unlicensed plumbing installation by the company or its employees. Customers may wish to confirm that installers are properly licensed before making a purchase.<\/p>\n

          Fine print<\/b>:<\/h3>\n

          The watertight door seals on Premier Care tubs carry a lifetime warranty against leaks. The bath frame and shell construction carry a 10-year warranty. Shower trays and walls also carry a 10-year warranty. Other items\u2014mechanical parts, accessories, fixtures, and shower doors\u2014are warrantied for one year for parts and labor.<\/p>\n

          Cost<\/b>:<\/h3>\n

          Prices are not listed on the Premier Care website. The company writes a bid for each project based on the customer\u2019s needs, design consideration, and installation costs. In general, walk-in tubs themselves cost between $2,000<\/strong> and $10,000<\/strong>, depending on the size and features included. Installation and a larger water heater, if needed, can add several thousand dollars to the cost of the project.<\/p>\n

          Premier Care offers financing plans for purchases through partner banks.
